Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines the terms and conditions for the delivery of orders placed with Wedding Bells Couture. It ensures transparency, compliance with South African laws, and clear communication regarding shipping, delivery times, and responsibilities. By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Processing Time 

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Orders placed after 2 PM will be processed the next business day. Processing times may extend during peak seasons or sales events.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Estimated delivery times:

  • Local (within South Africa): 2-7 business days, excluding production time.

  • Regional (remote areas): 5-10 business days, excluding production time


All delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. Delays caused by couriers, the post office, or customs are beyond our control.

Courier Services

We partner with reputable courier companies such as The Courier Guy, Aramex, and PostNet. Once the package leaves our premises, it is under the responsibility of the courier.

No Liability for Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Packages

We do not take responsibility for:

  • Packages lost or damaged in transit. Please contact the courier to file a claim.

  • Delays caused by courier services, post offices, customs, or force majeure events such as strikes, natural disasters, or pandemics.

Delivery Address

Ensure your delivery address is accurate and complete. We are not liable for delays, losses, or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.

Non-Delivery Cases

If a package is returned to us due to non-delivery (e.g., unclaimed packages or failed delivery attempts), additional charges may apply for redelivery or refunds (excluding original shipping fees).

Uninsured Shipments

Standard shipping options do not include insurance. Customers may opt for additional insurance at checkout for an extra fee.

International Shipping

We currently only ship within South Africa. For international inquiries, contact us at 0828934600 or weddingbells@vodamail.co.za.

Returns & Refunds

Refer to our Return Policy for details on returning goods. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the error was on our part (e.g., defective or incorrect item). Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Customs, Taxes, and Duties

All packages within South Africa are duty-free. Should unexpected fees arise (e.g., taxes or additional courier charges), these are the buyer’s responsibility.

Cancellation Policy

Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement if they have not yet been shipped. After this period, cancellations may not be accepted.

Force Majeure Clause

We are not responsible for shipping delays, losses, or additional costs caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as strikes, natural disasters, or pandemics.

Legal Compliance

Our policies comply with South African laws, including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA). Disputes will be resolved under South African jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated on our website, and the updated policy will apply to all orders placed thereafter.
